Organisation Description:

We are a consortium of Christian organisations working together in a country in Central Asia. We are registered with the country’s government as an INGO for relief work when needed and development work across the country. Our vision, based on Isaiah 58:12, is “To see local people building and rebuilding their families, churches and communities”.

Job Description:

We have members who work in placements, personal projects, comprehensive projects or business development. The Program Director strategises and coordinates with our staff and partners to ensure our programs and projects are held to appropriate development standards.

The Program Director works in close collaboration as a member of the Leadership Team and is responsible for the coordination of all program and project activities. This includes overseeing both existing programs and projects and the development of new programs and projects, as well as monitoring, evaluating and ensuring appropriate reporting occurs.

Person Description:

As a minimum we require a BA in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Leadership or a related field, experience in leadership and community development, a good understanding of financial management, strong cross-cultural communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English and a willingness to learn the local language. We also require excellent computer skills.
